I am deeply saddened to learn of Harvey's passing. I first befriended Harvey when we were both youngsters at Brooklyn Water Ski Club. She was a bubbly girl and, like me, loved water skiing. I didn't see Harvey for many years, but we both ended up working at McClunie Birch Limited in Hamilton circa 1999. From a Lake Karapiro water skiers' perspective, I was shocked to discover that Harvey had crossed to the dark side - rowing! BWSC always had to close for rowing competitions. Harvey even persuaded me to pair with her in the Waikato Indoor Rowing Championships. It was so exhilarating and I'm grateful that she asked me. Harvey was a great person. My deepest sympathies go to Tony and Courtenay.

Dear Tony and Courtney
This is the time when words feel insignificant. I will always hold such fond memories and appreciation of the many times Harvey supported and helped me at school many regattas for KRI
You will leave behind a huge void for many and it was a privilege knowing you.

Harvey, our legendary lundia squirrel and resident expert on the Olden Days. Arms full of folders, always lending a hand and looking out for us. A light has gone out in the office. Rest in peace my friend.
