Just such a lovely service. Couldn't stay and catch up with his brothers.
Remember the old days playing cricket on Frederick Dr as young kids and went on to play with Grant and Paul at Fraser Tech.
My condolences to the family RIP

To Melanie, Jade,Paris, Ebonee and Keegan, we are thinking of you all at this sad and difficult time. We will treasure our memories, especially our holiday´s we shared with him, in New Zealand and Australia. We will fondly remember our Australia trip, when Grant was our Commander in Chief, he was our driver and tour guide, and even a reluctant Barmy Army member !! when we watched England play cricket in Sydney. We have memories of Grant coming over to England to see us in more recent years. We enjoyed a wonderful day in London, which included celebrating a family birthday at the Ritz Hotel for afternoon tea. We were all dressed up and were shown to our table. Grant sat down and took off his jacket as it was a little bit warm. But oh no, the Ritz police were soon on his case, whispering politely in his ear asking him to put it back on.We all had a laugh together, great memories. Grant also had the task to deliver our fragile handmade wedding cake decorations from New Zealand to England. To our delight and Grant´s relief after 24 hours of cradling the box, he delivered them with no breakage´s. Which we still have to this day nearly 30 years later.

Our Brother-In-Law Grant will always be in our thoughts Love Kevin and Tracey

Grant and myself did not share a lot of mutual friends but I felt certain that I was one of the many to whom he generously and genuinely extended the warmth of his soul. He actively encouraged good citizenship but on the same hand his nature was forgiving and his friendship was steadfast. He was never discriminating, forever encouraging and anyone with whom he had shared with had a lasting place in his heart. Grant was patient and listened to others... when visitors departed he waved from his doorway and watched them drive off into the distance. Let us reciprocate and like himself, never forget.
Deepest sympathy to wife Melanie and his much cherished and so loved family.
