To the Lockley family
Sorry to know that Graeme lost his brave battle. We have lots of history with your family and we´re sorry we couldn´t make the celebration of his life and be there to share some of our special memories with you all. Mum and dad (Frank and Dot Green) loved catching up with Graeme and stayed in the same motel in Matamata that Graeme also happened to stay in!
Graeme was so involved in everything family and loved you all so much.
He will be missed by so many people here in Waitara and wherever his work took him.
May all the memories help through the days ahead.
Our sincere condolences to you all.

Graeme and Lyn were neighbours when we all lived on Calgher Avenue. Graeme was the epitome of a family man, always keeping in lose contact with adult children and grandchildren. We have often met up at events or had a chat in the supermarket, over the last 40 years. We are sad to learn of Graeme's passing and pass on our regards to the family.

Sincere condolences to all the whanau on Graeme's passing. We got to know Graeme and Lyn well during his time in the Fire Brigade and have been friends ever since. Always enjoyed catch-ups with Graeme at his letterbox on my walks up King Street. He was glad to see you and interested in what was happening in your life. A true gentleman whose first priority was Lyn and the girls. Sorry we won't be able to say a final farewell as we have another event to attend so it's goodbye from us Graeme. Our deepest sympathy to all of Graeme´s family. We met Graeme about fifteen years ago when he started staying at our Motel. Once we became aware of where he was from and as we knew his brothers from our earlier work life at the Waitara works. We became very good friends and he kept us up to date with all the events happening back home. Many stories were told. We met Lyn when she visited here and also his daughters. They are a credit to Graeme and Lyn. He came and saw us just recently which felt like a farewell tour. Very sad. We are very sorry we cannot attend the funeral but wished we could be there. We are sure many stories will be told of Graeme. Rest in peace our friend as you are now with Lyn. Forever your friends. Sharon and Paul .

To All the Lockley Families our deepest sympathy- we are thinking of you at this sad time. Knowing he is reunited with Lyn will hopefully ease the pain a little.
During his time as a milk tanker driver he became friends with my parents at Ahititi - Ian and Noeline Petersen. Many chats leading onto great rounds of banter and laughter could be heard from the tanker room at the cowshed. A true gentleman who always had a smile and ready for a catch-up. RIP Graeme.
