Gertrude BERRYMAN Obituary

It's with a heavy heart wrapped with aroha that on behalf of our Berryman Whānau we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, granma and GG, Gertrude (Trudy) Te Wehenga Berryman. She will be lying in state at our Kaputuhi Marae, Waitomo caves Road, Hangatiki 3977, this Thursday. We invite whānau and friends to come throughout this time. A service will be held at 9.30am, on Friday, at the Kaputuhi Marae, followed by burial at our Urupa in Te Kawa. All a welcome back to the Otorohanga Club for nibbles and refreshments and a celebration of life from 1.00pm. Ngā mihi nui.

Very sad to hear of Gertrude's passing, I have known Gertrude since we were in Primmer 1 together at Otorohanga District High School,, buddies right through our schooling until I left in form 3 to go to live in Hamilton. We both liked and played the same sports, we had heaps of fun together. My Deepest Sympathy to her family. Rest in peace my very old friend. Valda Valois
