George TOMSETT Obituary

Of Mangateparu, passed away at Summerset Rototuna in his 95th year. Much loved husband of the late Anne, and father and friend of Richard and Leslie, Gary and Donna, and Stephen and Maree. Esteemed brother of Keith and Brian and the late Joan and Frank. Beloved Grandad of 11 and Great-Grandad of 9. A true friend to all. A service to celebrate George's life will be held at 1.00pm on Thursday 6th March at Tahuna Hall. All communications, please, to Seddon Park Funeral Home Ltd, PO Box 5523, Frankton, Hamilton 3242.

Condolences to the family. A wonderful community person. My first memory of him was him judging lambs at Mangateparu School and being very encouraging to to all the kids. He was involved in the 50th, 75th, 100th Jubilees of Mangateparu. Wish we had more like him!

Sincere condolences to Richard, Gary, Steven and their families.

George has been a part of our lives in the Mangateparu District for as far back as any of us can remember. A wonderful and highly respected friend to Frank and Pam through the ups and downs of many years.

A true gentleman who will be sadly missed.

Well George..you didn't quite make the hundy as we so often joked...but you certainly gave it a hefty nudge..
