George LLEWELL Obituary
Peacefully slipped away after the fiercest of battles, where he showed true courage, grit and the utmost determination. Proud father to his five children and grandfather of eight. Loved son of the late Joe & Shirley Llewell. Brother of David, Stephen, Lorraine, Sandra, Jan & the late Carol, Sue and Judy. Previously married to Bernie who was very precious to him. A viewing for George will be held at Seddon Park Funeral Home on Seddon Rd, Hamilton, on Monday 8 December 2025 from 10.00am – 12.00pm, followed by a private cremation at Newstead. A gathering to celebrate his life will be held at a later date (in the new year), yet to be set. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hamilton Cancer Society, PO Box 134, Hamilton 3240, or online at https://www.cancer.org.nz/about-us/find-a-cancer-society-office-near-you/hamilton/donate/ They were much appreciated by George in his times of need. So sad to hear of George's passing, I'm so happy that I got to see you last week in M5 and meet some of your wonderful family.
It has been a privilege to get to know you over the last three years in Chemo where you shared many stories. lots of laughs and many hugs.
You are one in a million Georgie George and will be missed dearly by us all here in Chemo day Stay, this is not goodbye but see you later. RIP
