Died after batting illness, surrounded by loved ones. Loved by his devoted wife Alison of 53 years. Loved father of Chrissy, Laura, Cameron, Ashley, and the late Fraser. Father-in-law of Stacey and Nicole. loved Gramps of Nicole, Renee, Katie, the late Ben, Sarah Alice and Josiah: Emma and Jaide: Ezra, Kyla and Zara: Azariah, Zack, Amelia, Eli and Sophia. Great-Gramps of Chloe & Ashton: The late Braxton, Harvey, Freya and Parker: Charlotte, Holden and Tobias: and Zafiyah. Funeral for Geoff will be held at 10.00am today Saturday 28th March 2026 at Hautapu Cemetery, followed by refreshments at Hautapu Hall.

On 20th March 2026, aged 71 years. Beloved youngest son of the late Les & Vera Burd. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Ron. & Lynn Burd, Lesley & Keith Berry, Glenys & the late George Whittaker, Julie & Dave Burd-Carter, and the late Murray Burd. Beloved uncle and "MATE" of all his nephews and nieces. Respected by all his cousins.
