There are many buildings here today that are monuments to his name because he built them.

Working with Gary when he was the Building Inspector for Waipa Council was an absolute pleasure. He was just himself pleasant & helpful. I do hope there are lots of fast cars & boats in heaven where he can just cruise now.

Hi, my name is Louis Cooper and I spent alot of time working with Gary as an apprentice initially at Jack Russell in Te Awamutu. He was a good boss, learnt alot which left me in good stead to progress where I am today as a senior construction site manager currently working in Tauranga. We had a lot of fun living away at Otaua building a water pumping station for the Auckland city, building a bridge in Matiere, staying in motels, working, staying, partying together. He loved is rums. RIP Skinny. Lou

Worked with Gary at WDC and he was always so helpful and a genuinely good guy. Was just thinking about him recently. Sad to hear of his passing.

Saddened to see Gary's passing after a long fight. Thoughts to all of the "Boys" clan- they were the best neighbours you could wish for back in Te Awamutu. R. I. P
