ZILKE, Frieda
In loving memory of Frieda, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2017 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband Ben in 2000, Frieda will be dearly missed by her children Dorothy (Ray) and Raymond (Dorthea), sisters Linda and Maggie; brothers Albert and Wilson, extended family and dear friends. Frieda will always be remembered for her great cooking, her sense of fun, her smile and her strong faith in the Lord. A Memorial Service and Fellowship will be held Friday, September 29, 2017, at 2:30 p.m. at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, 6858 Fraser Street, Vancouver, BC. In lieu of flowers donations to the BC Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

The great hope becomes a reality - to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Our prayers are with you.We loved and appreciated Freda for her unique stories. Besides her delicious dinners and beautiful table settings was her ability to make you feel like she was enjoying your company. We will always remember her sincere and generous heart.
