Francis GILCHRIST Obituary

To Jenny and family, so sorry to hear about Dr. Gilchrist. He was my mentor and support during my first year as a Nurse specialist post graduation. He gave me break and believed in to become the nurse I am today. To the wider family, may you find peace and comfort with Dr. Gilchrist's fond memories.

To Jenny, Anna and other family members, I remember Frank well through sitting on the sideline with him at your hockey games Anna. His pride in and love for his family was always evident in his conversation and in his actions. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.

To my brother Frank, or Frani as most of us called you. Thank you for being such an awesome brother. I have many fond memories. You and Jenny turning up for my 5th birthday...I can see you walking through that door at Edinburgh Rd right now. Remember the cool patched cat you brought me from Kingseat. Good old Tink. To my dear brother Frani and the fondest memories I had with you and Jenny from as far back as the time I flew NAC to Dunedin with Donald Bailey until more recent times visiting us in the UK, plus my few visits back in Takapuna. I will miss you dearly. RIP awesome brother! God bless.
