I had Mrs. Washington several several years ago at what was then, Gainesville College/University of North Georgia in Oakwood, GA.
She was a great professor! I have to smile when I think about her, she was a blessing in my life. We had many a laugh in her class!

Mrs. Washington was my favorite math teacher at what was then Floyd Junior College. She was probably the most approachable teacher I ever had. She was always willing to take the time to help you with a question and explain until you got it. She was a joy and made math fun. She was a great lady who I was blessed to know in my life.

We were dock neighbors to Elsie and her son´s families back in the early 90s. I remember all of the families having sooo much fun on the lake. Bo at probably @ 5 years old was jumping off the top of the dock with everyone else. Elsie was the matriarch of the family and they all were such great neighbors. She was such a sweet and kind lady.
My sincere condolences to you all.

Elsie and I were colleagues in the Math Department at Gainesville College. She was such an awesome person, so energetic and full of life. What a pleasure it was to know her. Thank you, Elsie, for being you.

Elsie was our neighbor when we were first married. She was a great lady and so much fun. When our mutual friend asked her if she had met the new neighbors, her reply was no, but she had seen the little girl playing with the dog. The girl was me, the wife.
We were also members of Chapter J, PEO. She was active and dedicated to the sisterhood.
I also remember when she took her sons on a trek to Alaska.
When I think of Elsie, it makes me smile.
