Peacefully at Linda Jones with her daughters at her side. Loved wife of the late George. Dearly loved mother of Katie, and Allison. Mother-in-law of Malcolm. Loved Gran of Regan, and Liam. Special sister of Val and family. In preference to flowers a donation to St John may be made in Evelyn's memory. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Evelyn's life to be held at St Aidan's Anglican Church, cnr Thames Street and Heaphy Tce, Hamilton, on Friday 26 August 2022 at 11.00am.

My first memory of Evelyn was seeing her on Waterloo Station in London. In 1957. Evelyn was wearing a pink silk dress and had a blonde streak in her hair. She looked very glamorous. We travelled to Southport together to board the Southern Cross to sail
To New Zealand. We were friends from that day onwards. Evelyn was my bridesmaid and dear friend. I am sorry I did not hear of her passing until today. My sincere condolences to Ev’s family. Jenny Gardner

Evelyn was one of the Friends Volunteers at Hamilton Gardens. I have fond memories of working with her there. Sincere condolences for her passing.
