Our condolences Jean to you and the family .We remember fondly of our time living in the Kereone school house and myself teaching at the school to complete my country service. Lots of memories like Jim coming to school on his motorbike bring the milk for morning tea, having longer morning intervals on Fridays so we could pick the horses for Saturday Races, getting to the RSA on Fridays for snooker and a beer, Wednesday afternoon for 9 holes of golf at Walton course, our country school sports days, end of year concerts in the local hall and of course the great country school family learning that was provided for the students. Jim was a great supportive Principal and friend.. Gone but not forgotten

I have fond memories of Jim as a teacher at Kereone school in the 1970's and 1980's. A warm and friendly man. Very loyal. Rest in Peace.

So sad to hear of Jim's passing. Condolences from me on behalf of the Brock family. Our families spent time together at Kereone, Morrinsville Intermediate staff family get-togethers, and your visit to us in Tihoi when we went to Mt Ruapehu. Jim was also my teacher in Form 1 at Morrinsville Intermediate. I remember him as a very kind and friendly teacher and as a man. May you have many great family memories to remember him by at this sad time and beyond.
