Eric HALL Obituary

Passed away peacefully at the age of 95, on Monday, 21st April, 2025. Beloved husband the to late Val, loved father of Kevin, Chris and Tina, Kathy and Denis. Adored Poppa and great-grandad. Special thanks to the staff at Resthaven on Vogel for their care and compassion. A service will be held at Woodside Estate, 130 Woodside Road, Matangi, Hamilton on the 29th of April at 2.30pm. Sending love and condolences to all the family. Rex and Val were patients of mine for many years. Rex taught me many things and told me lots of stories. He showed me how to put on socks with two arthritic knees. He even made me a walking stick. Val was the same age as my mum Val, they were like patents to me. I think of them often. Rest in peace together now. From Margaret Muir.

For the very short period I got to know Rex at Resthaven, he was certainly a character with plenty of stories, and equally of questions. Will never forget you sitting with Nola and I on what would both your last musical concert together.
