Elizabeth MADDERN Obituary

Born 30th September 1925, passed away peacefully on 23rd July 2024, just short of her 99th birthday. Loved wife of the late Eddie Maddern. Mother of Donald, Ian, Ruth, Sue and Henry, Kate and Larry, Julie and David. Grandmother of Francis, Mark, Jo, Peter, Ben, Jamie, Icis, Sarah, Ezra, Shae and Zoe. Great-grandmother of Kyra, AJ, Rory, Zach, Ellie, Eric, Ilva, Harry, Theo, Alexis, Isaac, Ryder, Kora, Beauden and River. Great-great-grandmother of Esme and Pandi. Betty's family would like to thank the wonderful staff and carers at Te Ata Rest Home, Te Awamutu, and Glaisdale Rest Home, Hamilton, for their care and compassion. A celebration of Betty's life will be held at Alexandra House Chapel, 570 Alexandra St, Te Awamutu, on Monday 29th July at 11.00am, followed by burial at The Te Awamutu RSA Lawn Cemetery. All communications please to the Maddern family, PO Box 137, Te Awamutu 3840.
