Eleanor Mary (Ellie):
Peacefully, at Cascades, Hamilton, surrounded by family, on 9 March 2022, aged 84 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Tony. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Helen & Ian, Sandra & the late Roy. Loved Gran of Samantha, Ashleigh, Jamie, Jared, Nicole, Emma and Stevie, and a much loved Great-Gran. A service for Ellie will be held at Seddon Park Funeral Home Chapel, Cnr Seddon Road & Somerset Street, Hamilton, on Monday, 14 March 2022, at 1.30pm. Due to the Covid restrictions numbers are limited to 100 and will require a vaccine pass. All communications to the Wellington family, C/- PO Box 5523, Frankton, Hamilton 3242.

My condolences to Helen and Sandra and family. Ellie is a reminder to all of how one can be so many things to many people. Ellie had a gift that enabled people to always look at things with an open mind. Ellie will never be forgotten as she has left a legacy of inspiration, mentorship, guidance and unconditional love. I will miss her terribly as will so many others. Rest in peace Ellie. Love Jan x

Ellie, I couldn't find enough words to describe the incredible lady you were in this world. Intelligent, graceful, simplistic, expert, dedicated, humble and kind are but just a few. I am so incredibly grateful and honoured to have known you. Your knowledge, expertise and guidance that you shared with me in mental health and addictions was second to none. Such a privilege to have known you Ellie. Rest in peace beautiful lady.
