Edwin ROLFE Obituary

Passed away peacefully after a short illness at Bupa Foxbridge on Thursday 24th August 2023, aged 83 years. Loved husband of Judy for 58 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Chris and Leanne and Julie and Hamish. Cherished poppa of Ysobella, Georgia, Adam and Emma. `Finally dunwerkin' A celebration of Eddie's life will be held at The Narrows Landing, 431 Airport Road, Hamilton on Thursday 31st August 2023 at 1.00pm. All correspondence to the Rolfe family, C/- PO Box 276, Hamilton 3240.

So sorry will not be at Edwin´s celebration of his full life full of hard work, fun and a loving family. It has been uplifting to have met Edwin at Foxbridge Retirement Village, always a great mate to share one´s thoughts. A few cracking good times together sharing our favourite liquid refreshment. A fighter to the end with Judy his wife doing a sterling job, never far from Edwin´s side. On boarding a flight back to NZ it will give me great pleasure to toast Edwin in the air with our favourite refreshment, in fact there will be time for a second rum to treasure memories. Sympathy to Judy and family.
