Passed peacefully on Friday, 6th March 2026 at Avonlea Resthome Taumarunui, aged 86 years. Cherished father and father-in-law to Sarah, Louise and Jean-Paul. Loved grandfather to Quinn and Maggy. Beloved brother to Marion, Janice, Beryl, Margaret, Patricia, Charles and Wally. A Service for Jim will be held at Taumarunui Funeral Services Chapel, 34 Huia Street, Taumarunui, on Saturday, 14th March 2026, at 1.00pm followed by private cremation. To Jim's family
We are so sorry to hear of Jim's passing.
Jim was our Dad (Alex Fife)'s neighbour for a number of years in Manson St.
He was a great and loyal friend to Dad and we are so grateful for the care and friendship he gave to us and Dad.
We know Jim will be sadly missed by you all.

To Jim's family.
We are so sorry to hear of Jim's passing.
I am Alex Fife's daughter and got to know Jim well as he was Dad's neighbour in Manson st.
Jim was a great and loyal friend to Dad and he was very much appreciated by our family for his care and friendship he gave Dad over the many years they were neighbours.
I'm sure he will be greatly missed by you all.
