Yesterday

Dear Margaret, Jim and Glenys.
John and I were very sad to read of Dulcie's passing in the Herald today.
Soon after my arrival to teach at Putaruru High in 1973, Dave invited me to meet Dulcie at his home.
Both were so welcoming and so began many years of our wonderful friendship.
Dulcie was Dave's rock. She was kind and was always interested in my family up in Auckland too.
Dulcie loved to swim and play golf. I was not surprised to see she had reached the grand old age of 97!
You will miss her greatly and have many happy memories of your very special Mum.
Lots of love to you all.
