Dudley JACKSON Obituary
9.7.1934 - 15.9.2019
Passed away peacefully in Matamata, after a short illness. Dearly loved husband of Lynnis, loved father and father-in-law of Michele and Dave, Nigel and Gillian, AJ and Stacey, Tony and Clare, Karen and Rodney, and loved Pop to all the grandkids. A service to celebrate Dudley's life will be held at the Matamata Club, Rawhiti Ave entrance, on Thursday 19th September, at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. Donations in lieu of flowers would be welcome for the Matamata Health Shuttle, c/- Railside, 41A Hetana St, Matamata 3400, and may be left at the service. To Lynnis, Michele, Nigel, AJ, Tony and my dear friend Karen. Sincere condolences to you all on the passing of your dear Husband and Dad. Dud was such a colourful vibrant character - and his passing will leave a huge hole in your lives. I have very fond memories of fun times over the years - especially during my time at Walton Golf Club where he had a very close friendship with our late Dad Norm Simpson. There will be a round of golf and a good old reunion happening up there I'm sure.
