It is with great sadness that Doug passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday 19th July 2025. He is finally with his much beloved late wife "Bub" Elaine Doris Haigh. Much cherished Dad to Julie, Peter and Shelley. Father-in-law to Mark, Robyn and Brian. Loved "Poppa" to Joshua and Jaime, Samson and Chloe, Anika and Andrew, Bethany and Nick, Max, Tessa and Kevin, Reane and Ryan, and Casey. And "Great-Poppa" to Heath, Erika, Kaiya-Fae, Makenna, Emmett and Clay. The family would like to invite everyone to a celebration of Doug's life to be held at Papamoa Sands Village Centre (61 Golden Sands Drive) at 2.00pm on Wednesday 23rd July 2025. Messages may be sent to the Haigh Family, C/- Hope Family Funerals, 2a Loop Road, RD6, Tauranga 3176.
