I loved working with Dorothy at English Language Partners. She had this wonderful sense of humor that turned even the driest of topics into something fun and interesting, she took everything in her stride - unflappable, her work ethic and integrity created trust in all who worked with her, and she was just a genuinely decent and lovely person. She was interesting, warm, and brave. My condolences to the family whom she spoke of often and loved very much. One enduring memory I have of Dorothy is her cat - if you were ever on a zoom call with Dorothy you could be guaranteed to see the cat at some stage either stealing the show completely (cat on key board, cat's bum on screen, cat's face on screen, all of cat's body on screen with Dorothy bobbing around behind). It somehow added to the work!

Sincere condolences to all the family. Dorothy was a well-respected colleague and the inspiration for my journey to become an ESOL Literacy teacher, always encouraging me to step outside of my comfort zone. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
