PARKER, Dorothy Joan:
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dorothy Joan Parker â€" better known as Joan, who passed away peacefully on 1 September 2021, in her 93rd year. Loved wife of the late George; Mother of the late Ronald, David, and Peter; Mother-in-law of Barbara, Shirley, and Diane; Nana to her 7 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, Joan requested donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of New Zealand. On 6 September there will be a private cremation service. Following the improvement of the Covid-19 restrictions a memorial service will be held at St Andrews Church, Cambridge. For updates regarding this email Peter Parker Junior at [email protected]

So very sad to learn of Joan's passing. What a lovely lady she was. Will be fondly remembered especially by those who knew her through the former Crosslight Trust Op Shop and Over 60s group. Sincere condolences to Joan's family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.
