Donald Toscano Sr. was born in San Antonio, TX on 4 October 1937, beginning a life filled with purpose and service. He attended Brackenridge High School, then courageously joined the military service, where he was stationed overseas in Greenland, Germany, and Vietnam. Donald's remarkable military career culminated in San Antonio, TX, where he proudly served on the Honor Guard at Lackland AFB.
He then transitioned to the civilian sector as a dedicated government employee, working at Audie Murphy VA Hospital for another 21 years of distinguished government service. Some of his passions included working for Southwest Championship Wrestling as a ring announcer and timekeeper and sharing joy through BBQ and quality time with loved ones.
On February 15, 2025, after a brave battle with Parkinson's Disease, Donald passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Nell Toscano, and daughter, Tina Herrera (Edward Fuentes); brothers: Henry Jr., James (Julie), Albert, Norman (Amalia), sisters: Lanell (Alex) Torres, Rita (Leslie), Patnode, and Sharon Schriner. Survivors include his devoted wife, Adrienne, sons Don Jr. (Deborah) and Michael (Evonne), brother Charles, sister Barbara Stewart; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson, numerous nieces and nephews.

Immediately after the mass, the interment will be at
Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:15am
with full military honors, a testament to his enduring legacy.
Serving as Pallbearers will be: Albert Torres, Edward Neeley, Jimmy Stewart, Raul Herrera, Eddie Fuentes, Cody Toscano, Manual Sanchez, Brian Toscano; Honorary Pallbearer, Mike Torres.
