Donald MACLEAN Obituary

MACLEAN, Donald. - Peacefully passed away 29th December after a short illness. Loved husband of Dawn, beloved father of Maree, Stuart, and Micheal, father-in-law to Lars, Anoushka and Claudine, irreplaceable Poppa Don of Jackson and Stirling, loved brother and uncle of Rob, Adee, Sharee and Scott.
- A funeral service to celebrate Don's life will be held at St Patrick's Cathedral, 43 Wyndham Street, Auckland, 11.00am, Saturday, 5th January. Don, you were taken too early but you'll be with us forever. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mercy Hospice, Auckland. Communications to the family through donmacleannz.wordpress.com

Don, you were a huge part of our team at LIC through the contribution you made via NZTE and personally. Your insightful emails will be missed, and your enthusiatic smile and the interest you showed in our business whenever we met. Thank you for all that you did for LIC and the inspration you provided. You will be missed by many Don, rest in peace.

Please accept my condolences. I am regretting my failure to keep regular contact with Don over the years since we worked together in MAF. He was a leading light then, active energetic helping farmers generally and individually plus motivating the rest of us in the DAOF team. I liked him, admired him and will miss our very infrequent meetings.
