Donald HASTIE Obituary
Passed away on 26th April 2022, aged 83 years. A wonderful man committed to his family and community. Much loved by the late Meryn, his children Alison, Grant, Debra, and John, their partners Murray, Liddy and Chris, his grandchildren, Paul, Cameron, Ethan, Sophie, and Poppy. A Service for Donald will be held at Alexandra House Chapel, 570 Alexandra St, Te Awamutu, on Monday, 2nd May at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation, and a Memorial Service will be held in Manaia at the Gibson Memorial Hall on Friday 6th May at 2.00pm. I did the books for Mr Hastie for many years at Harris Taylor. He was a real gentleman with very good sense of humour. RIP Mr Hastie.

Sincerest condolences in the passing of Donald & Your Dad. I have known him from the time in the Army and becoming a member of Lodge Manaia. He often commented on these memorable times. Donald was very community minded and contributed to all that he could. We shall all miss him and I wish you the family all the best in this sad time.
