Donald BUSH Obituary
BUSH, Donald George. - On January 5th, 2013, peacefully at Hillview Rest Home, Te Kuiti, surrounded by his wife and family. Dearly loved husband of Maureen and loved father and father-in-law, of Trevor and Julie (New Plymouth), Christine (Hazel), (Te Awamutu), Bruce and Karen (Otorohanga), Ian (Australia). Grandad to Jenny, Robert, Carol, Jocelyn, Sarah, Dianne, Evan, Troy, Christopher, Lauren, and great-grandad of Cameron, Hayley, Aaron, Luke, Marley and Elijah. In his 82nd year. Now at peace.
- A funeral service for Don will be held on Wednesday 9th January, 11.00am, at St David's Presbyterian Church, Otorohanga, followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to the Otorohanga Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the church. In the care of VJ Williams & Sons.

When I was a baby in 1945 Don was working for us on our dairy farm on McCready Road, Otorohanga. I believe he was known to change my nappies on some occasions.
One incident I remember was when he was burning rubbish, the fire took off through the neighbours pine trees. They were well established trees so the next few weeks were spent cutting and cleaning up the ruined trees and replanting for the neighbours.
We loved your sense of humour Don and you leave us with some great memories.
Our thoughts are with you Maureen and your family.
