Desmond Thomas (Des): JP
Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, 25th March 2021, aged 76. Loved and loving husband of Hilary for 52 years. Loved father and friend of Danny & Nicky, Steve & Kelly, Sean & Cindy, and Tom & Linda. Treasured Poppa (Poppie) of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Rest in Peace Des.
A Requiem Mass will be held for Des at St Peter's Catholic Church, 21 Anzac Street, Cambridge, on Wednesday, 31st March 2021 at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation. Donations to Hospice Waikato would be appreciated and may be left at the service. All communications to The McBride Family, c/- 3 Hallys Lane, Cambridge 3434.

My dear Hilary, our deepest sympathy goes out to you and all your family as you cope with Des passing from this world to the next. What an absolutely beautiful and caring man he was. You were blessed to have 52 years together and those memories will help you through the years ahead. So sorry we could not be at the funeral but you have been constantly in our thoughts.
