Died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Loved husband of Norma for 62 years. Much loved Father and Father-in-law of Suzanne and Andrew Downey, Cheryll and Shane Robinson, Heather and Tony Clayton, Roger and Angela Wilton, and Maree and Paul Jones. Loved Grandad of Sarah, Caroline, Michael, Lynette, Stanley, Emma, Thomas, George, Hazel, John, Abbey, Ella, Isaac, Bruce, Aaron, Nereida, and Gemma. Great-Grandad of Reuben, Eleanor, Hudson, and Maxwell. A service for David will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Morrinsville, on Friday 22nd July 2022 at 1.00pm, followed by a burial at Piako Cemetery.
