David TAYLOR Obituary

Being lectured, taught and mentored by David was only the start of his lifelong interest in the success of his students that passed through his classes. I was one of the lucky ones who met this man and he changed my life for the better. He was so interested in the progress of his students in life. This set him apart from most. Gone too soon but he leaves behind him a great legacy. My thoughts are with all of his family.

Such very sad news. As one of David's legacy of students who are roaming the world, inflicting on it the marketing disciplines and ideas he taught us, I can safely say he was very special. He was undoubtedly my favourite lecturer, and a wonderfully kind, helpful and very funny man. Agnes and family - I'm sure he will leave a very big hole, someone so much larger than life couldn't help but do that. Thinking of you all.

My condolences Agnes, Janine and Kelly. Dave was a great guy and real fun to work with. I am sad that you will not be enjoying many years of retirement together Agnes, and missing many a good laugh with DBT. One of his legacies is the hundreds of students scattered around the world who never understood a word he said. St Patrick's day will never be the same for me.

Words can't begin to express how much I adored you. I loved receiving your 7 word emails, they always made me laugh. You will be missed so much, but I was truly blessed having you for an uncle. RIP

Very saddened to hear of David's passing, and sympathies go to Agnes, Jeanine and Kelly. I recall David as a generous and optimistic man. Rescued children and myself from Ak Intl when we arrived back in NZ on wrong date.

Agnes and girls our deepest sympathy to you all. We have great memories of David.

You were a massive inspiration in my life. You dared me to dream and believe in myself. I will always be eternally grateful for your wise words, delivered with kindness and honesty. Forever, sadly missed.

My thoughts are with you at this sad time Agnes and family.I have many happy memories of exploring Ireland under David's leadership last July. May he rest in peace.

David, you were the first person I met in New Zealand - and my life was forever changed for the better. Agnes, Jeanine and Kelly, I remember you all with David - with many funny stories - too many to share but thank you for taking care of me when I was new to NZ so very many years ago. I have never forgotten. Thinking of you all.
