Smiley sadly passed away on 4 February 2026, aged 79 years. Loving husband and best friend of Judith. Dearly loved father of Paula and David, loved father-in-law of George and Heidi. Playful and loving grandad to Charlotte, Bridget, Emma, Molly and Alice. Best loved brother of Peter. A private family service has been held.
