Dave, you were a great mate and a gentle soul. I will miss our coffee latte sessions and your cheeky humour. I hope wherever you are you keep smiling. I will miss sorting the world out with you and Sam. You may be gone, however Jock will be forever your legacy to us all, reminding us that there is humour in all that we do. I will miss you so much. Dear Alastair, Susan, Catherine and Matthew. I was so sad to hear that your lovely dad had passed away. David was a lovely friend to our family and always so kind to my children. We remember him and his wonderful stories, and his beautiful garden and art. Chloe remembers happy times with David drawing and reading together. With love from Tara, Chloe and Sebbie.

David will always be remembered by sister's Moira and Heather. Upon meeting you in 2013 at the Turkish Restaurant in Hamilton East, where we enjoyed many coffee's and cake with you. Encouraging my sister Moira to continue with her art studies, showing her how to draw quickly a cartoon face, friendly pats for Scruffy and Miss Molly all with an endearing charm, quirky wit, you made our days David, you were sadly missed when you no longer came.
Our sincere condolences to the family,
Blessings to you all.
