HABERFIELD,
David William John:
On 3rd August 2018 at Highfield Hospital, Te Awamutu with his family beside him and now at peace, aged 83. A very loving husband to Fay (nee Loomb) for over 60 years. Adored father of Gary and Adele, Murray and Lucy, and Gaynor and Peter Krippner. Much loved granddad of Lisa, Brad, Nicole, Ryan, Samantha and Liam. Great-granddad to Cody and Amelia, and granddad to Janine and Ian. Dearly loved brother of Morva Leyden. A Favourite uncle of Tony, Fiona and the late Laurence, Christina and Diana. A well respected member of the community. Many thanks to the team at Highfield for their kindness and support through this difficult time.
"Others have lost this we know, but he was ours and we loved him so."
A celebration of David's life will be held at St John's Anglican Church, Arawata Street, Te Awamutu on Wednesday, 8th August 2018 at 1.00pm followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service. All communications to Haberfield family, PO Box 137, Te Awamutu 3840.
