It is with broken hearts that we share the news of the passing of our Pāpā, Dan Te Huia. Dad passed away at Waikato Hospital, surrounded with love. Loved son of the late Wairehu and Wehewehe. Beloved husband to Ada, and loving children and pāpā to his many loved mokopuna. We welcome everyone to share in celebrating Dads life with us. He will lay in his whare tupuna Te Maru o Ihoa, until his ra nehu on Tuesday 3rd September at 11.00am, followed by burial at Rewatu Urupā. We look forward to seeing you here.

At peace now Dad.

You were worthy of a Kings farewell and that's exactly what you got.
I draw comfort in knowing that you are now resting in the company of all your whanau who have passed on before you.
What a mighty catch up you all must be having.

Thanks for watching over us Dad. Your wairua is peaceful and quietly strong.
