Peacefully at Waikato Hospital, 1 January 2026, aged 87. Dearly loved mother & mother-in-law of Diane Brown, Wayne & Kelly McLeod (Perth), Shane McLeod & Ann-Sofie Vanstappen (Belgium). Adored Momma of Hayden Brown & Sarah Nicholl, Erin & Xavier Mitchell, Kris & Kate Sumner-Brown, the late Hayley and Jack McLeod(Perth), Koda, Emma and Mats McLeod(Belgium). Very special Great Momma of James, Louise, Georgie, Ava & Lexi, Chayce, Margaux & Charlotte. Cat Momma to Smokey.

Rest in love and peace. Heaven's gardens will be beautiful.

As per Colleen's wishes a private family farewell is to take place.

To Colleen's family, I was very sorry to learn of Colleen's passing. During my time working at Hillcrest High School I would have many chats with Colleen across the counter in the canteen. We put the world right in many ways. Her knowledge of gardens was a great benefit in my job. Rest in Peace Colleen
