Colleen MCLEOD Obituary

C

I'm writing this poem
to say good buy
to a lady we know
was to young to die.

We met with Colleen
some years ago
when our children
were on the go.

Now they've grown up
and gone their own way
we'er all still good friends
to this very day.

But sadly for Colleen
her time has come
as it will
for every one.

For no matter how strong
and no matter how brave
when the body is weak
it cannot be saved.

Now Colleen has passed
don't be sad
you should all be happy
and not feel bad.

She has no more pain
and no more drugs
just send her good thoughts
and plenty of hugs.

She will always be remembered
for her love of Cats
Sheep and Chickens
Birds and Rats.

So, our friend Colleen
don't despair
we'll see you again
when we get up there.

we'll open a Wine Cask
and swim in your Pool
we'll lay in the Sun
our time will be cool.

These are only words
that i'v written today
but our memories of good times
will never fade away

MCLEOD COLLEEN ELIZABETH sister, the first part of your journey has sadly come to close. However the next part of your journey is just beginning, the transformation of your life force, and your physical being, will form part of another formation of life in the continuation and creation of life. What a story if it could be told, you will for all time be part of who we are and what we will become. What a great system the creation of life is, to be part of something so fantastic and wonderful. You certainly made a difference to the life beings you helped create, and to those you have touched in your lives journey. In time we will all be together again, being part of something else, something yet to be in the passage of time. For now Colleen, we say goodbye now until we all meet again.

Farewell my precious friend. We have had some great times over the past 25 years. From you I have learned so much. In your loving and gentle way you have shown strength, determination, courage and been an absolute inspiration. You are right to be so proud of your girls who have grown into such talented and beautiful young women. Now safe with Paul and many furry friends. X
