Clive KINGSLEY-SMITH Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Eventhorpe Rest Home on Friday 3rd May 2024, aged 88 years. Loved husband of the late Olaug. Cherished father of Chris and Helene. Loved brother of Wendy and Raewyn and the late Robin. Loved Uncle of Leon, Mark, Kim, David, Julie, and Tim. A service to celebrate the life of Clive will be held at Woolertons Funeral Home Chapel, 8 Railside Place, Dinsdale, Hamilton, on Wednesday 8th May 2024 at 11.00am, followed by burial in the Oak Lawn, Hamilton Park Cemetery. All correspondence to the Kingsley-Smith family, C/- PO Box 276, Hamilton 3240.

To the family of Clive Kingsley-Smith
I would like to express my condolences to your family at the passing of someone I admired immensely during my tenure living in Whakatane 1976-1983. I taught at Whakatane Intermediate during that time, and well remember reading Clive's stories, especially on Maori history. I found them very interesting and informative. Has anyone ever thought of putting all his stories into some sort of book? I actually have a few cuttings somewhere stored away. A great gentleman.
