Christine PURDY Obituary
Margaret (nee Moore):
On 7th February 2015, at home in Tirau surrounded by her family. Aged 61 years young. Dearly loved wife and mate of Brian for 42 and a half years. Much loved and treasured mother and mother-in-law of Karen and Craig, Megan and David, and Brett and Kerry. Treasured Nana of Brodie, Rhiannon, Eden and McKenzie; Millie and Abbie; and Indie and Bryn. Beloved daughter of the late William and the late Dione Moore. "Forever smiling and resting on our shoulder". A farewell celebration for Christine will be held in the garden at Purdy's Place, 169 Parapara Road, Tirau on Friday 13th February at 11am, followed by interment in the Tirau Cemetery. Donations to Putaruru Hospice in lieu of flowers would be appreciated, and may be left at the service or posted c/- Tokoroa Hospital, Maraetai Road, Tokoroa, 3420. Communications for the family can be sent to the home address.

A very special and wonderful lady taken from us far too soon. We will treasure the memories of our times together - sharing a 4 berth room on a cruise ship for 10 days; the wheelbarrow of buns for Jeff at our wedding, the long chats around the dining room table drinking copious quantities of hot water and coffee and the shortbread master class to name but a few.
