Christiaan George (Chris):
Sadly passed away on Thursday, 31st March 2022. Aged 56 years. Loved husband of Fi, and Dad to Eva and Brittany. Loving son of Francois and Angela, brother to Anton & Caryn, Joanna and Brett and the late Andrew, and uncle to his 14 nieces and nephews. Friend to so many. A service to celebrate Chris's life will be held on Thursday 7th April at 2.00pm in the Park Chapel, Hamilton Park Cemetery, Morrinsville Road, Newstead, Hamilton, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Waikato may be left at the service. Sorry to hear your sad news. Chris and I won some junior titles together and he was a fierce competitor. One memory is when he skipped me and Tony Gray against the Hinuera trio of Kevin Smith, Bruce Milne and Stu. It was a Waikato triples post section game. We played so we'll that the Hine boys shook hands early in disbelief. God rest you easy Chris and bless your family until we all meet again.
