- A service to farewell Chris will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, at All Saints Anglican Church, corner of Hohaia Street and Broadway, Matamata, at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the service to Canteen or posted to PO Box 19448, Hamilton 3240. Broadway Funeral Home, Matamata FDANZ.

Ruth and family
I was greatly saddened to hear of Chris's passing away. I have known Chris for many years through visiting Metso Engineering. I enjoyed joining him for morning tea along with the machineshop team and built I a healthy respect for him. As we used to conduct customer training sessions at our head office in Sydney, Chris was selected to attend one of these. He was a very good machinist and I always remarked to him how tidy he kept his machine and work area. As I am a fitter and turner we had a lot in commom and used to talk about the "difficult jobs" we had encountered over the years. Chris, Rest In Peace and may God hold you close to His heart.
