Cerian CHADDERTON Obituary
April 26, 1969 – February 26, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cerian Jill Chadderton (née Petty), aged 55, of Stoke, Nelson. Cerian returned to her heavenly home on February 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving husband and three children. In late 2024, Cerian was diagnosed with cancer. She faced her treatment with remarkable endurance, grace, and a sense of peace, always expressing gratitude for the blessings in her life and her readiness for what lay ahead. Cerian will be lovingly remembered by her husband TC; children Lauren, Vaughan and Megan, and Caleb and Te Mania, and mokos Keira and Klay; her mother Rosemary; her siblings Mark, Nathan, Janet, David; her half-sister Samantha; and all her in-laws, nephews, nieces, whānau and friends. A funeral service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 119 Nayland Road, Stoke commencing 11.00am on March 3, 2025, followed by kai at 12.15pm and interment at the Seaview Cemetery at approximately 1.15pm. All family and friends of Cerian, TC and their family are welcome to attend.
