Brian HONEY Obituary

On 7 January 2026, Brian passed away after a courageous battle with blood cancer. Son of the late Richard and Doreen Honey, dearly loved husband of Dallas, cherished father and father-in-law of Steve and Debbie, Mike and Nicky, Jeff and Rachel, and forever loved Grandad of Jaimee, Natalie, Sami, Jessie, Max and Ty. A devoted family man, who also worked more than 50 years as an engine driver for the Railways and enjoyed rugby and horse racing, Brian will always be remembered. A celebration of Brian's life will be held at The Park Chapel at the Hamilton Park Cemetery & Crematorium (Newstead), 395 State Highway 26, on Saturday 10 January at 11.00am. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Waikato Hospital and Waikato Hospice for their compassionate care in Brian's final days. In lieu of flowers, donations to Waikato Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
