Brian CURLE Obituary

On Wednesday, 24 April 2024, at Waikato Hospital, aged 87 years. Beloved husband of Rosemary (dec). Loving father of Geoff, Gillian (dec), Allison, Mark (dec), Nicola and Thomas. Adored brother of Murray (dec) and Sandra. Devoted poppa to Lisa, Kelly and Matthew; Paige and Matthew; Zoe, Alice and Lucy. Great-poppa to Brooks. A celebration of Brian's life will be held at the Taupiri Rugby Club, 60 Murphy Lane, Taupiri on Monday, 29 April at 11.00am, to be followed by refreshments. The family would like to thank all the staff at Kimihia Rest Home and Waikato Hospital for their compassionate and patient care that they have shown during Brian's time in their care. Brian was the Coach for the Shirley Amateur Athletic Club, back in the 60's, always willing to help anyone regardless of there ability.I remember the training runs up Hackthorne Rd, ChCh on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings along the Summit Road, to witch hill and return to Colombo St.Rest easy now Brian, thank you for your kindness to me all those years ago, Philip Millar.
