I was devastated to hear of Bev's passing from my twin sister Sheryl. Bev was my first flatmate in Burlington Road Napier when I left home at 16. Being a few years older Bev took me under her wing, showed me such kindness and friendship I will never forget. Bev was a beautiful woman in every way and I am only sorry our paths seldom crossed after I moved to Sydney. That song 'A little ray of sunshine' comes to mind whenever I think of Bev - a golden, twinkling ray of warmth and love emanated from her and touched those people lucky enough to have been in her world. "Unforgettable, In Every Way, And forever more, That's how you'll stay". My thoughts are with her family and friends. Love Pamela(one of the Salter twins)

Dear Bev,
You were a very dear friend who radiated a beautiful & caring personality that I just loved. I always enjoyed catching up with you either on the phone or in all your different lovely houses. You'll always be special in my memories. With love from us both.

In your life, I find there is always a handful of people that you meet and of whom your mind turns to when you think about improving yourself. When I reflect on the kind of person I want to strive to be, Bev has often come to mind. As a child my recollection of Bev was a beautiful woman who showed compassion and a soft touch. She had such a warmth and glow that just made you smile – no wonder her Jasmine had angelic qualities. My thoughts and prayers are with the Devine's. Lots of Love Tandi McCarthy
