Betty FARISH Obituary

On October 9, 2024, peacefully at Athenree Life Rest Home, in her 103rd year. Beloved wife of the late Joe. Dearly loved mother and mother in-law of Mary & Tom O'Flaherty and Joyce & Ed (deceased) Knight, and second mum to Lesley. Treasured Nana B of the late Tony, Clinton, Debbie, Nigel, Paula, Dwayne, and Jamie, and Great-Nana B of 14. A service to celebrate Betty's life will be held at Waihi Memorial RSA, Seddon Street, Waihi, on Wednesday, October 16 at 1.00pm to be followed by burial in the Waihi Lawn Cemetery. Communications to O'Flaherty family, C/- PO Box 108, Waihi 3641.

My deepest condolences to you Mary& Tom and Joyce, I have the fondest memories and greatest respect of Betty whilst working at Athenree Life, she was a a courageous beautiful lady and always so grateful of anything I could do for her. Our many chats about flowers especially scented roses were special. Rest in peace in the warmth of the sunshine dear Betty. Love Judith.
