Betty Ball Obituary

Betty Eileen Kelly Ball, age 94 of Baldwinsville, NY, formerly of Addison¸ NY passed away on 9/1/25. She was born on August 14, 1931 in Addison, NY to Harlow and Edna Relyea Hadlock. She was a 1949 graduate of Addison Central School and went on to graduate from Bryant Stratton Business School.
She married Lewis Kelly in 1952. They moved to the farm where she was born and there, they raised 6 children. After Lewis died, she married Kenneth Ball.
Betty was employed as an accounting clerk at Corning Inc. retiring with 25 years of service. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and genealogy. But most of all, she loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Lewis Kelly and Kenneth Ball, son Edward, sister Leona Schick, nephews Steve Phillips and Chuck Phillips.
Survived by children: Michael (Wanda) Kelly of Richmond, VA, Sheila (Jim) Hierholzer of Baldwinsville, NY, Paul (Terri) Kelly of Fredericksburg, VA, Wayne (Patsy) Kelly of Richmond, VA , Jay (Linda) Kelly of Richmond, VA
Grandchildren: Deanna Haston, Ryan Cunningham, Tessa Jones, Christopher Kelly, Bret Kelly, Brandon Kelly, Jeff Hierholzer, Joshua Kelly, Rachel Kelly,18 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Betty's family would like to thank the staff at Syracuse Home for the kind, compassionate care she received during her stay there.
A graveside burial service will be held on Saturday, 9/20 at 11:00am at Addison Rural Cemetery.
Additionally, a Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, 9/21 at 3:00pm at the Canton Woods Senior Center, 76 Canton Street, Baldwinsville, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Betty's name to the Canton Woods Senior Center, 76 Canton St., Baldwinsville, NY. 13027
