Beryl we were neighbours in Lowe Road for so many years but so busy with our work both on our blocks and as teachers we barely saw each other. I think you actually took over my job at Melville Intermediate when I left but my memory is fading. Still I know you were someone special and must be sadly missed.
Pete I hope you kept strumming that guitar.

Not sure if this is the same lady who was a teacher at Cambridge Intermediate school??? if so was just thinking about her the other day. I remember her being a real caring Lady.

Beryl, you are so deeply missed, yet never forgotten. I still have you in my favourites for texting-such a small thing, yet it reminds me of how present you always feel.
So often I catch sight of someone tall and regal, with that salt-and-pepper hair and that unmistakable, funky style, and I want to shout out, thinking it´s you, sadly its not.
Your laughter could light up any room, your cheekiness brought smiles even on the dullest days, and your bravery was quietly inspiring.
You left a mark on everyone lucky enough to know you, and your spirit continues to live on in the stories, memories, and love we carry every day.
Love Karen xoxo
