Our thoughts with the Callaghers. Going to miss Bernie cruising around his section cutting the grass on his tractor and the cheerful wave across the fence.
Thank you for being part of our lives.

Bernie's old teacher from Marist 1957-8.
He and Ray were a credit to their parents. Have memories of their great lineout and rugby ability.
Saddened by this news. Colin fms

My deepest condolences to All of Bernie's family at such a sad time. Such devastating news.
We, Callagher & Powell Boys grew up together in Melville, I did move away but enjoyed catching up with Bernie, Brother Ray and their golfing buddies on their trips to Australia.
Great memories of a wonderful person.
RIP Bernie!

We first met Bernie many years ago at Lochiel Golf Club. We have played a lot of golf with him over the years and enjoyed his company very much. We were very surprised and sad when told he had died.

Tash, Rach, Mike, Nick & Prue,
My thoughts are with you and your families after hearing about Bernie´s passing. I cherish the childhood memories of visiting from across the Tamahere paddocks. Bernie and your lovely Mum were always very welcoming. Love, Andrea.
