Barry CRONIN Obituary
On 9 May 2015, peacefully passed away at Waikato Hospital; aged 87 years. So very dearly loved and forever treasured by his family, Audrey, Kath and Ron, Ben, Mandy and Nina, Aimie and Paul, Jeremy and Josh. John, Dee and Josh. Kevin, Monique, Zoe and Hannah. At Dad's request, a private family funeral has taken place. Grateful thanks for all the care and kindness shown to Poppa, and our family, over his illness. Special thanks to his GP of many years, Dr Bert Rauber, to Tamahere Eventide staff and residents, and to all the wonderful Drs, nurses and staff at Waikato Hospital, especially in Ward 16, who were outstanding in their care of Dad. Correspondence may be forwarded to the Cronin Family, care of Pellows Funeral Directors. Rest in Peace.

Barry was an excellent boss and mentor, with his assistance I started as Cronin Transports first truck based in Auckland carrying bulk flour.
Barry was a great man, and took a genuine interest in the huge team he had working for him, his vision set the bar in New Zealand bulk transport operations, my only regret is I didn't catch up with him in later years. Thank you Barry, we will never forget you.
