On 16th October 2016 peacefully at Waikato Hospital, Aged 83. Dearly loved wife of Douglas and loved mother of Matthew, Thomas and James and the late Alice May. Loved nana of Jordyn and Claire and respected mother-in-law and friend of Ruth, Julia, Leanne and Judith. A private family service has been held. All communications to the Redfern family C/- PO Box 276, Hamilton 3240.

Sincere sympathy Doug from Allan Prestidge previous owner of 90 Alfred Street. The house is now owned by Jenny Wolfe and Muir Wallace. I'm sure that they would be interested to meet you if you wished to contact them.

Farewell Barbara.
Many memories of the early 90s taking over the old boys home in Melville.
Temporary accommodation became so much more for Cambodian and Somalian families.
